I tried to contact Spectrum via internet and then phone to inquire about if the channel would be online for the game tonight. I ended up trying to talk to customer support and virtual assistant asked if I was calling about ACC network. I said yes it told me that the ACC network was not available with any "legacy packages" and I would need to subscribe to an "SPP package" to get the network. Is this the latest info? I thought Silver package subscribers would eventually get the network.

Yes, legacy package's will not have ACC Network available. You need to switch to Spectrum. I did it over a year ago for something unrelated to the ACC Network and actually saved a good bit per month.

You do have to have the Silver package to get it.

Be aware, though. If you do not live in a State without an ACC team you won't have access to the network until 9/6. That is what happened to me in Texas so I signed up for a Youtube TV 5 day trial so I can get the game.

I don't know what your saying. I am on Spectrum Silver now. I am just telling you what the recording said. When I turn on the TV guide there is no channel above 329. The next is 501 which is HBO.

Sorry, I thought you were asking for verification that was the case. What state are you in?

Same deal here. I'm just going to use a free trial of PSVue to watch tonight's game, and I'll worry about the Spectrum issue later.

So its 9/6 and still no ACC Network on my Spectrum Silver channel listing. So I went thwasu the internet/phone call wait for customer service again. I got a customer service rep 30 minutes into the call and was told I would have to upgrade to a special package (SPP) even though I am already Spectrum Silver customer. Am on hold now to talk to billing about what the new package would cost. Gonna hang up soon and file a complaint on the FCC website. Anybody going thru this?

the saga continues... I filed an FCC complaint because I couldn't get Spectrum to handle my request to get ACCN on my Spectrum Silver. Here's what I got today finally:

"I am reaching out to about your concern with the ACC network. After reviewing the ACC in-market and out of market information your city is not in either area. Possible in the future your city could be included but currently ACC is unavailable. If you would like to review anymore please reach out.

Best regards, Charter"

Done with this crap.

You aren’t in-market or out of market? LOL.

Where do you live? I didn’t know that ACCN and SECN were regional.

Sandersville

I think it all boils down to them trying to get an upcharge from "in-market" customers who would be more anxious to get the service.

With 6 national & 60+ local providers, ACCN is available nationwide.

While Comcast remains out, the early returns on subscriber numbers are overwhelmingly positive. Coburn said that the ACC Network is in over 40 million households -- well over the launch numbers for the SEC Network and other conference networks -- and that new deals with AT&T U-Verse and DIRECTV seem imminent. .....By every measure that (the ACC and ESPN) had in place, we're past where they thought we'd be at this time in terms of subscriptions!
