The only way CPJ won his last game at GT was because he threw a pass. (and a player made a miraculous catch)

He is a Sewak sub who didn’t give a crap about GT, or winning. Only his O stats.
So you’re saying...CPJ did something he hated to do in order to win a game while saying CPJ never cared about winning.

I'll add @H-town @RamblinWreck92 to the list. This is the offense that we deserve.

CPJ would have won 8-9 games this year.
No way PJ wins 8-9 games with Lucas Johnson under center. It would've been another 500-carry year for TO and the braindead QB Keeper offense, with predictable losses to the usual suspects while continue to recruit like öööö. The same amount of empty seats but less $$$ and interest in the program than the boring 2018 season.

We would've beat the Citadel though. Most of our OL came from us winning recruiting battles with the Elons of college football and Elon beat the Citadel!

PJ did manage to get blown out at home by MTSU just 2 years after the magical ACC Championship though.

This doesn't excuse the öööö-show yesterday though. Looks like Sewak got reincarnated into our OC, who appears to be completely incompetent. Our FCS-recruited WRs can't get separation from Citadel DBs and our no-P5s-recruited-him QB can't hit water if he's in a boat. No wonder PJ hated passing. No wonder PJ quit on us. He probably looked around, saw this, started laughing and just decided to take the $$$ and run.

Why not last year with better OL talent?
We were five points away from 8 wins and a coastal division championship last year, in what many would consider a pretty down year for PJ, coaching wise.

Sure, the offensive line sucks this year but it has pretty consistently sucked since 2014. We have some of the best skill position talent on both sides of the ball that we've had in 10 years and what looks like a respectable defense.

Paul Johnson would have schematically found ways to put his players in a position to be successful. The new staff has not shown that ability so far. Whether he would have won 9 games or 6 is pretty immaterial at this point because this staff doesn't look like it will sniff either.

That is pretty upsetting.

We were also 5-10 plays from 4-9.

I think you’re severely overrating our skilled position talent.

We gave PJ 11 years to experiment.

PJ's time was up. I'm not disputing that. 11 years was a long time and he did some amazing things at GT, but frustratingly came up short in other ways. I just feel like the lack of support he got contributed to that, and now we're reaping what we sowed. We don't have the offense we need, but we damn sure have the one we deserve.

I don't. Jordan Mason is an All-ACC caliber RB, we have 2 elite athletes at QB that we aren't using, and we have 2 big WRs who have proven they can go up and get it if you give them a chance. That doesn't even include some of the new talent like Brown, Griffin, Davis, etc.

On the defensive side, Thomas, Carpenter, and Swilling are all NFL-type DBs, and we have lots of good options for the other CB spot.

We have talent. The type of talent that should have blasted The Citadel, beaten USF handily, and won at least 4 ACC games with good coaching to maximize our players' skills.
