While...it sounds pretty dumb to dive into that with kickers, who usually aren’t even human.

This was a bit sickening to hear, considering they kept swapping him out, even in the middle of a series.

I realize the guy isn't a great passer, but he was a solid option QB and is a real running threat every time he touches the ball. We don't have to run CPJ's old style of option, but I think it's insane to not be running some sort of RPO this year. We ought to play to the strengths of the personnel we have, but in such a way that we don't deter any potential recruits.

Something like the RPO Auburn employs might work well. In that system, the QB and RB have a mesh, oftentimes the slot receiver comes across during the snap with the potential for a pitch/reverse, and then the QB can pull back from the mesh/slot receiver and throw. Oliver would do really well in that kind of system, and it would allow Mason and Camp to shine too.
 
You just got to like that guy. He's got a lot of positive energy, unlike some crotchety, ornery football coaches.
