Dig it. But that ööööing initial-stealing punk Quinlan needs to hire a proofreader.

Dont go crazy. Its still a work in progress and we have no depth to survive the inevitable injuries.

Jones would change my calculus though.
I can live without depth. GOL didn't have a ton of depth. As long as our DL starters can match against an OL, I'll take it. It's been 10+ years since I saw a Tech DL hold its own.

. Other people are piggybacking or trying to piggyback off of it. I won't name any names, obviously.
Wait...is some other team trying to copy us?

Good stuff. Good questions and answers with some meat on them. But there’s something that I’m always scratching my head about....KQ does a pretty fantastic job covering the Jackets. Content, interviews, very articulate writing, good insider info, a fantastic Twitter feed etc. If you didn’t know he got a BA in journalism from Georgia, you would never know he went there and of course he’s very smart to never allude to his alma mater (see his LinkedIn profile for details). I do wonder if he has any allegiances to either side....the school where he studied vs the school that he uses to feed his family. I can’t even say it matters...just something to ponder during bowl season...

I've known a few journalism majors at UGA (and a few others) that hated most things associated with the school and especially the sport's program but wanted to major in Journalism or Law, etc and it is one of the only options in the state and Tech has nothing equivalent.

I have no idea if this is Kelly's attitude but just wanted to point that UGA is a large school and a large minority does not drink the kool-aid.

From a financial standpoint only, he would be collecting more subscription fees if Tech is doing better, beating uga and going to bowl games. Obviously he’ll want Tech to do well. Even if he rooted or roots for uga occasionally I’m pretty sure he’s never been a homer because you couldn’t do that job with the professionalism that he demonstrates. He just couldn’t.

This is correct. He doesn't try to hide that he went to UGA but he has forged friendships and connections within the AA and the GT coaches. I know the attitude of many on here about paying for recruiting info but I think the subscription is pretty reasonable on an annual basis for the content he provides.

My girlfriend's son got some jobs as a journalist while attending UGAg as a statistics major. Wrote for several papers around the south and got to cover the Cincinnati Reds for one summer

Wow. I'm suddenly optimistic about DL.
If sarcasm, eat a big/bag/bowl of... something.

If not sarcasm remember to filter out the Collins factor. We will be improved with what we have, but we are still a bit too thin and only have one or two potential impact players on the DL.

Collins factor: every thing said is true, but his choice of comments to make will leave you pumped up.

We are splicing 10+ years ago to now, as far as defensive depth is concerned.

My favorite quote from the interview.
"So when I go for the break, because this will be the first time in a long time that I've had a Christmas break, and we won't have one (a season without a bowl game) moving forward."
