Mike Leach to Miss State

Good hire for them. I doubt he's going to regularly have them finishing top 3 in that division, but he should have them competitive, with the potential for a top 10-15 season every 4-5 years.

I'm a little surprised he took it, though. His whole career has been out west.

I for one am glad to not have to stay up to watch him on the west coast time zone. I like Leach.

He's been in small towns virtually his whole life. That's nothing new. He was born in a small town "out west" in California that overwhelmingly voted for Trump.

I also wasn't talking about culturally. Is Chicago suddenly "East Coast" just because it's liberal? Are we not allowed to call it midwest because it doesn't "culturally" fit some of its surrounding areas?
