I watched a little of this and it’s honestly a little embarrassing how unathletic these guys are. I didn’t really know what was going on as far as gameplay but it felt like I was watching a pickup game at the CRC..

Awesome, it's like the early 80's when ARF was on all the time. I even had teams I rooted for and teams I hated (aka the ones who wore red and black).

Ah, oh well, stands to reason I suppose. I still have the 2014 and 2016 GT-UGA games and the Orange Bowl vs Miss St on DVR. I have a lot of 30-for-30 stuff as well.

This isn't even close to true. The average AFL player runs something like 10+ miles each game. They're nearly all over 6'2" with 35" verticals. I've been to dozens of AFL games and am friends with a former assistant coach of the Sydney Swans and met many of these players and been in the locker rooms before games. Looking at all them, they all physically look like Olympic athletes. The game is nonstop with almost no substitutions so they play almost every minute of every game.
