Well, that escalated quickly.

So is this going to count as a UGA forfeit since we were willing to play? :)
I was about to post the same thing. We should absolutely count this as a win. They already don’t count two of our actual wins on the field from the 40s, so who cares what they say let’s count it in our Win total.

Next up is the fight over whose field to play on next year, since they are forfeiting in their home year.

SEC done its thing again, uga's extra two SEC West opponents are Arkansas and Mississippi State.

Florida has Alabama and Texas A&M.

Edit: I see what they did, they are bringing next year's SEC cross division games to this year. Ok I like bringing uga's easier next year's slate to this year. uga already has Alabama and Auburn this year.

öööö Georgia State. I'd rather play Mercer and hope State goes tits up. Or play the real GSU if they promise to bring their co-eds.

Let me make a few calls ... still got some peeps in the Boro who can help out ....

I did know two cheerleaders there who became Hooters girls.

Good to see you JC7. I'm not convinced the game will not be played.

Stay safe so we can kick your ass fair and square.

I guess this Dawg forfeit will have to suffice as Coach Collins’ first win over the Mutts.

I am pretty weary of the P5 conferences over inflated sense of importance. These COVID-19 schedule announcements are all about asserting power. ACC loved announcing their 11 game schedules and breaking all of their agreements with non-P5 teams. They made one big error. They have to know their place. You don’t announce before the SEC. They tell you whether or not games will be played with them. Oops.

These decisions have nothing to do with concern for player safety and are certainly not based on science. If ten games are safe, why not twelve? What science and concern for player safety has Georgia playing Arkansas but not us? Why is it safe for us to play Syracuse but not Gardner-Webb?

The end game is to recoup their losses as much as possible with programming for ESPN, CBS, ABC and Fox with lots of programming on their conference networks. They are playing hardball with other conferences. They hope those conferences are shut down for the season; with their fans at home they want this season to be P5 only and made for TV. A few top dollar contributors will be allowed in stadiums and the rest of us will binge watch the P5 play their conference only games for our entertainment. I think I will pass.

This is all about money and using monopoly power to hurt potential competitors. It is never, ever about putting the athletes first.

Play the game against Gardner-Webb and add a W to go with the forfeit over the Dwags. GW will do whatever is necessary to play the game and collect their money. UCF canceled on us in the past so I have no sympathy for them.
We have a real shot to qualify for a bowl game with the revised schedule.

Just gonna say, you post like a preacher. Brevity isn't something taught in seminary, i guess.

Per the dwag fans I know, all of them were oblivious to the fact that the ACC announced before the SEC, that ACC was willing to play ooc.

Relish in the fun of calling them bitches.

No sure how to post gifs in the new format, but there is a nice gif of the inbred UGAg dwag backing back into his cage i used more than a few times to reiterate the point of their bitchiness.

Let's see if the state of Georgia legislature gets involved in this mess and demands it. They love their Dwag football. They were so mad when Gurley sold his jersey that I seem to remember they wrote a law against anyone buying such memorabilia and getting a beloved Dwag in trouble

Of course, they hate GT, as does the board of regents, so maybe not.

That was floated around early in the week but apparently it's not the case. SEC is going to look at everybody's current strength of schedule and use that to determine the next 2 opponents.
