This deserves a political comment about Justin Fields' probable ignorance of the relationship between why the university Presidents canceled the season and their broader socio-political agenda that he presumably supports. But you posted it in a non-political forum, so I'm not gonna say anything else.

Kid wants to play football. I’m sure it’s gotta be frustrating to have somebody still telling you “we’re doing this for your own good” as a young adult.

I’m hoping we get a season b/c I love Tech football, but a close second is to see the B1G feel the effects of rushing this decision for the next decade. A lot of schadenfreude to be had with them trying to showboat as “first to announce” going conference only when everybody else was still trying to work shit out together. And then doing the same damn thing with shutting down (expecting everybody else to follow suit) so the narrative would be shaped with them leading the charge of player safety.
