FSU post-game thread

KQ article. Apparently our blocking on kicking sucked because Covid

Collins blamed himself for the special teams' issues with blocking. He said that may have been a side product of being overly protective due to COVID with some live special teams periods leading up to the game.

So we pulled a Navy on ST? Wtf... Thankfully it didn't cost us the game.

I saw that!

Cheesy öööööööööööö.
Saw it too, and thought mason showed more restraint than I would have, also a clear late hit earlier in the game that went uncalled, along with the blatant holds

Welp, so much for showing off that S&C program against GT. FSU got manhandled

Stat of the Game
FSU did not have a single blocked kick during the 2018 or 2019 seasons but had two in the first half against the Yellow Jackets and also had a blocked extra point.

Both blocked field goals were credited to senior defensive tackle Marvin Wilson. Redshirt defensive end Janarius Robinson blocked the extra point.

If you had told me after UGAg last year that we would walk down to Doak on game 1 with covid impacts and start a TrFr and look the better team most of the day AND get a win(blocked kicks, etc), I would have told you that you were crazy.

F$U has had talent for years and has had no great scheme change. This culture and the young men who are bought in to the program and all that it is about overcame and brought it home.
