Unfortunately, I no longer have to worry about this on this upcoming weekend. Once the Masters coverage is over on Sat, I'll have to find some other team to watch.

Sinclair Says It Will Be Offering Standalone RSN Products as Soon as Next Year

Sinclair has a plan in place to offer STANDALONE products for these RSNs channels that users can purchase WITHOUT having a cable bundle.
Sinclair president and CEO Chris Ripley said Thursday that what now is known as Fox Sports (FOX SOUTH & SOUTHEAST in Georgia) , as well as other regional sports networks Sinclair owns nationwide, will be available for customers to purchase independently. “We have a pretty aggressive plan,” he said. “It will happen next year.” But indications are that offering could be later than sooner, by the beginning of the baseball season next spring.

Sinclair will sell a standalone app (monthly charge, just like Netflix), but the GAME broadcasts will be available ONLY in the officially-designated territory. (Atlanta Braves, Atlnata United, Atlanta Hawks, ACC FB & ACC MBB games on Fox Sports South/Southeast.

Also in 2021, the 21 FOX Regional Sports Networks will be rebranded using the Bally name.

Yes. VPN then use ESPN 3 on the app. For the Braves I’ll get an mlb.tv subscription and VPN into that. I’d rather send them the money instead of Sinclair. The sooner Sinclair dies, the better.

I signed up for a 7 day free trial back during the Fall to catch one of the Tech games that I was missing. Took the time to make a list of channels on each one and not on each one for the sake of breaking to wife and kids which channels they'd gain/lose. Anyway, if Sinclair does not come to some agreement with Hulu, I'll very likely move over. From what it appears, Sinclair and AT&T have a longer agreement.

Might have to look into that if baseball season starts and the Sinclair mess isn’t fixed. My bet would be a few other outlets pick up the RSNs for baseball season, would be a big miss if not given how much MLB is played

Watching sports is such a hassle nowadays. Maybe it’s a liberal media conspiracy to get out asses back in the stadiums.

Im pretty sure I posted about ATT TV earlier in the thread. Been with them about 6 months. I think it is the best deal that has all the channels we need for GT sports.

Only channel I miss from DirectTV is Golf Channel but I only occasionally watched.

they have it in the more expensive packages I guess.

Which of you aren't getting the RSN GT games on Hulu Live via the ESPN College Xtra channels or the ESPN app via login???

Me. The Sinclair RSN games are blacked out here (northern Virginia) on ESPN app. Have to do VPN fake-around route as discussed above. It's a bad joke, and the very first thing Stansbury should push Phillip$ to buy us (ACC) out of.

So, I am looking ahead a bit and may finally be heading back to standard cable. I need to gain Bally Sports (not as much for Braves right now but mainly in the Fall with GT football) and my current Hulu (as mentioned) does not have it.

AT&T Now, for which I signed up for a free-trial, is not accepting new subs. They are phasing that out and going solely to AT&T TV for streaming. It appears, from Googling, that their Choice package has Bally SS, but their official channel lineup page does not include it. I cannot find news that they have dropped it or anything like that.

Anyway, are any of you subscribers to AT&T TV streaming (not AT&T Now or a combo with DirectTV) and can you confirm the availability of Bally? Figured I'd check here just in case.

I was having trouble accessing then”local/regional” channel lineup. Figure Bally must be there
They are, like 3 channels worth. Same as you would get with cable.
