I would rather keep only two threads pinned not to clutter too much. I think 2021 recruiting can be unpinned this summer.
I doubt we see much more action in the 2023 class for a while anyway. We still only have one for 22 so far.

I'm just gonna sit back and wait for @coit to call out the reposter when someone creates a duplicate thread in a few months.

I’m not being a good Stingtalker these days. Too much work. You’ll have to cover for me.

This is my first post on StingTalk so hello everyone! Long-time member of another board that is struggling for relevance. Anyway, I read in the AJC where Tony Mitchell and other top-echelon recruits took unofficial visits with us this week. Mitchell is a 5 star corner out of Alabama who said the following:

“It was real great because I hadn’t seen (Tech’s coaches) in forever,” Mitchell told the AJC at the end of his visit. “It was great to see their faces again, get to speak to them in person instead of over the phone.”

The article went on to say:

Mitchell said he wanted to show his love for Yellow Jackets coaches, as they were among the first to make a scholarship when he was still in eighth grade in the spring of 2019.

Others making visits included Malik Bryant, a five-star edge rusher in the 2023 class from Orlando, Fla.; Payton Kirkland, a four-star rising-junior offensive tackle, also from Orlando; and a pair of rising-senior offensive linemen from Milton High, Maurice Clipper and Brandon Best.

It appears that the long-term relationship building strategy by this staff is providing inroads into higher and higher rated recruits each year.

Personality is great but it will run out of gas if we can’t start posting some wins. The rubber meets the road this year and we need to at least make a bowl (any) to keep building.

Also: 13 - 0, baybeeeeeeee

A combination of Reggie Ball and Crown Royal got me banned from "the other board" and I have not looked back.

Don’t think a bowl is necessary but do need to see wins and better all around play.

I agree. If we had a comparable schedule to most teams in the ACC, then a minimum of 6 wins and a bowl appearance should be fully expected. (We may very well reach that anyway) However, with 4 games against pre-season top 10 teams, our margin of error is really small. So for me, 5 wins with improved discipline and play across the board coupled with strong recruitment will be enough to believe we are heading in the right direction.
