Looks Like Saturday is Going to Be Nasty

If its Athens, i give it a 100% chance of being trashy, poor, and filled with ugly people.

You see this alot though, then the actual game weather ends up not being all that bad. Not saying that will necessarily be the case here, but it's still subject to change.

I'm no football expert, but I would think a rainy day would not be good for our defense. The ugag wide receivers would know which way they were cutting when running routes. Wouldn't this give them a distinct advantage (of course, it'd give Bebe a distinct advantage too then)?

Unless they drop the football because it's wet or Stafford throws short because he can't grip it.

same can be said for UGA's defense vs. the triple option.

For the most part, rain doesn't hurt either team more than the other.

No, we've been through this once before. Gailey brought a team to Athens in the rain and never changed out their spikes. I would like to think that we change out our spikes to be the longest we can get.

Urban legend, same thing goes for the nightmare that was the Emerald Bowl.

The only thing a rainy field hurts is our defensive front 4. I would think it would hurt their ability to defend us more so than our ability to defend them.

A wet field helps a passing game because of footing. A wet ball hurts a passing game.
