this weekend could be very huge for the program...

In Fact according to my estimation by 3 o'clock Saturday it could be the biggest day for Tech football in 18 years.

Of course I'm talking about Tech managing a win along with UVA

---now before i get attacked for posting this too soon..Calm down--i know the odds aren't in our favor. Im sure someone can do a spread sheet but my math says we are about

40 percent Tech and UVa Loses
45 percent either us or Uva wins
15 precent we both win

If we do lose both--I've got my head high all off season....When we lost to VT earlier this year I was comforted by a pal who said come on you didnt expect to win them all..did you??

im probably one of the most realist on this site..But whats the point of cheering for a team if you can't have some hope.

Do I think that I should be down because we've lost 7 in a row? hell no. Each year is different. Should I refrain from talking about players who couldnt beat Georgia? Hell No....players like CJ, Tashard gave it their all for us week in and week out and coming up short isn't a singular persons problem....it's a teams.

and by saying not jumping ahead--it meant--not to get too excited too soon...but there is a chance :)

I probably know you BOR...both from Savannah, both Tech fans....

Oh right... Each of the first two lines isn't a single game probability. Duh.
 
:) those aren't mathematically formulated...they are my feeling and probably the thoughts of most non-partial fans....

Forget jinx's... I deal in guys strapping on the pads and beating the fool out of the other team.

Georgie may be "more talented" and have the refs on their side but our guys are tougher and smarter. If we hit Georgie in the mouth, they'll lose their confidence.

dry sarcasm has no place on message boards when you can't get a read of the persons body gestures or tone....

the term tongue and cheek was coined because back way way way when they were kidding each other they would press their tongue on their cheek so that everyone knew it was a joke

Yeah, I don't really see it either. I think he really believes that the letters typed by random people on the internet have a real effect on a game played by totally separate people who have put in hundreds of hours of preparation. :rolleyes:
