Sounds like the unofficial last weekend might have been about telling our coaches face-to-face, which I respect.
The visit last week was he stopped by on his way to the airport to go to USCw.

We probably have 2 guys ready to commit soon that were on campus last weekend. We really shouldn't be expecting a lot of commits soon though. These guys have not been able to set foot on a campus in over a year, usually by this point recruits have made unofficial visits to most of the campuses they are legitimately considering. Basically real recruiting just started two weeks ago.

And if he gets homesick 18 months from now…
CGC has done well in the portal and i think that will continue.
hasn't landed a 5star yet but having a guy like this on campus and talking about GT
is the kind of publicity that can only lead to good things.

Damn GA has some talent if he is 37th at his position and only 37th in the state or at least they are highly rated.
Yeah, you have to go to 40th in the state to find a 3 star. Not unheard of for GA to go nearly 50 deep with blue chips some years.

I think the 37 at position is nationwide right? Still not a bad pick up if we get him.

Yes that is what I meant - 37th nationwide at tackle and only 37th in state. Maybe it is a light year for tackles.

GA has had talent forever, home some of them want the local urban experience. That was one reason my country ass went to Tech.

I do not keep up with this real close but wasn't more supposed to be happening in June?
Lots of visits have happened. No commits from them yet, but a lot of guys aren't going to commit before taking their visits, and since those are just now ramping up, it's a waiting game.
