Common wisdom had the mutts in the Capitol One bowl on 1/1 vs. Michigan State.

Brandon and Woolvey are reporting that that Capitol One bowl might not invite the mutts after all.

The C1 bowl folks put out some statements to the effect that Ole Miss is a good (better?) candidate for them.

They're(Brandon and Woolvey) are speculating about Outback Bowl for the nadlickers

Couldn't happen to a better team

Interesting. Maybe the Dawgs will end up in the Cotton Bowl then.

Also, in advance... no, we will not get a rematch with them in the Peach Bowl.

Edit: And what's more, it's not like Dawg Nation doesn't consider their season a complete failure already. Dropping down to a crappier bowl may not affect them that much anymore.

1) Cotton Bowl would be more of a step aside rather than down, don't you think? Outback Bowl is a January 1st, 11AM kickoff on ESPN as opposed to a Cotton Bowl January 2nd, 2PM kickoff on FOX. I may be wrong, but it seems that way.

2) No, and the only people that want that are a few Georgia fans. The rest of Georgia fans are calling them idiots and asking "Do you expect we'll have a different result? Really?"

3) You can never pour enough salt in a Georgia wound, you can only run out of salt.

I really, really don't want them to:
A) Play on New Years Day
B) Get a higher payout than us
C) Win their bowl game

So far it's looking promising... :)

They'll play on New Years Day. I don't think there's any real possibility of them dropping to the Music City.

As far as winning goes, they seem to have exhausted every gimmick Richt had in his book and short of some black helmets with guns on them that shoot out rabid bulldog puppies, I think there's a decent chance that they'll meander lethargically into the stadium and get steamrolled.

I thought the bad news for U(sic)GA was going to be that they were still U(sic)GA.

If only the Humanitarian Bowl had a slot open for a mediocre SEC team...

But with a sky below him and above him, how with Moreno know which way to hurdle?

If they ended up in the Cotton Bowl against Texas Tech the final score would be something like 70-63.

I will be mad if we don't play LSU though. I am from Louisiana and all my extended family and old friends slobber over LSU like people do for UGA here.

I would love nothing more than to STEAMROLL over them 60-0.
