Each January, Division I athletic departments file a financial report of about 80 pages to the NCAA for the previous academic year. Below is Detailed annual financial reports filed by the ACC’s eight public institutions to the NCAA. I have often heard that Coach Geoff Collins had an increase in "Budget" compared to Coach Paul Johnsons era. However when look at the 2019-20 numbers Georgia Tech is still last in many spots. I do realize this does not take in account the AI2020 fundraising campaign for facilities.

* Contributions collected and used in 2019-20.

** Total salaries, benefits and bonuses for the 10 assistant coaches permitted by the NCAA.

*** Total salaries, benefits for football support staff such as quality control coaches and recruiting assistants.

Wow we suck with the donations. Where the hell are the 80k folk? And our ticket sales suck too. Out of curiosity can you find what ticket sales were in 2009, 2010, and 2015? If I recall correctly there was a bump in season ticket sales each year.

I think we need sustainable winning to gin up fan enthusiasm with ticket sales. Don’t know how to convince the alumni to donate to athletics instead of academics. Isn’t Tech one of the richest academic institutions?
I’ll tell you what convinced me: Ivan Allen college giving Fauci $100k. If Tech has enough money to give that sonofabitch award money, it doesn’t need my Roll Call contributions.

I knew we were cheap. But I never knew it was that bad. When you put it in that context, Paul Johnson was a magician with what he accomplished during his time here.

Don't be a douche. Keep your eye on the prize. Tech football needs our $$ to be able to compete. What the Ivan Allen college did has nothing to do with football dollars. We all know the Hill doesn't give two craps about athletics so it is up to us, the fans and alumni.

I think winning cures everything.

Guys: we can out recruit half the teams on that list. Just need to start winning.

I redirected my academic contributions to athletics. All the way.

Fan base was divided over CPJ’s future then goes through two 3-win seasons. What’d you expect?

Didn't exactly get a major bump after a National Title.

Reality is GT alumns are notoriously cheap. If many of them can't be convinced to buy tickets or donate to the program, what makes anyone think that they will participate in the NIL silliness?

I'd like to see how the numbers compare to the year before we instituted seat licenses and other regressive such measures.
