Dude, this whole thing is stupid. We had everyone and their mother who are "insiders" with the program saying we backed off. We have his coach saying that. We have the media reporting it. But then we have one person on here saying otherwise, and it turns into a pissing match.
No offense Lane, I dont know who your source is (you actually did say you would drop a name as soon as the decision had been announced), but I am going to go with the tidal wave of others who say we stopped recruiting him. If your source is someone close to the family, I doubt they are going to openly admit that we stopped recruiting him - nobody wants to admit that they are no longer wanted...
