An optimistic thought: Our big problem to fix is defense and we've got a defensive specialist. To me there's more hope for improvement there than there was in the Paul Johnson years. (Though I doubt Collins has the same willingness to replace assistants.)

Willingness to replace assistants? We had an OL coach under CPJ who did nothing but collect a check for a decade +

I think everyone is a Sewak to Collins. We'll see. But I'm also not on board with the idea that our OL under Johnson was anywhere near the problem the D was.

One of our best NFL players is a lineman. We routinely had All Conference lineman. Sewak was a bad recruiter But he was able to get his players to implement his offense. He’s certainly better at the coaching aspect than Key has shown so far.

One of our best NFL players is a lineman. We routinely had All Conference lineman. Sewak was a bad recruiter But he was able to get his players to implement his offense. He’s certainly better at the coaching aspect than Key has shown so far.

Sewak was able to get the ol to block within the 3/o scheme, but our pass block sucked. Right now we aren't doing either well.

I criticized sewak a lot while he was here and I'm not ready to retract it, despite what the current team looks like.
