I agree with this. Starting in about 2015, the OL was definitely an issue. Lots more mental mistakes than we were used to seeing, in addition to getting physically dominated by bigger DLs.This is absolutely revisionist history. Just go look back at how many threads we had on how bad our OL was. We've sucked on OL since Todd Spencer left.
That being said, even with bigger and stronger players, our current OL is even worse. We have more skill position talent than we’ve had in over a decade, and we struggle massively to sustain drives against decent defenses. Gibbs rushing for -10 yards against Pitt is absolutely inexcusable.
