Well, it's been a long time coming, but I finally completed mastering a DVD of the GT vs UGA game. There was massive interest in the game. So, I have put the .IMG file of the DVD image up on Alliance if you would rather burn it yourself. Be warned, however, that after all was said and done, it's ballooned to a massive 7.5 GB so you'll need a dual-layer DVD disc to burn it. Kinda sucks that the size blew up like that but I guess that was part of the conversion from mkv to mpeg2. Look for Enuratique or Enuratique0 (Enuratique0 is my mac which actually matered the thing and is hosting it) or search for GT UGA DVD.

For those who'd rather not download such a large file or don't have the wherewithall to figure out the Alliance Network, I'm offering to burn it to DVD and mail it to interested parties. Unfortunately, I won't be back home until January 3rd so that would be the ABSOLUTE soonest I could start on burning. Expect the standard 4-6 weeks delivery time. I'll send a reply email when your copy has been processed. If you would like a hard copy (or copies) mailed to you, please send an email with your mailing address and desired number of copies (if omitted it is assumed you want 1 copy) to [my stingtalk handle]@gmail.com. Please make the subject of that email "[GT UGA DVD]" so that I can easily search and flag them. Also, because going this route is not free, I've set up a PayPal donation link here. Donate what you want, but if I could get a total of $30 in donations for the spindle of DVDs that'd be nice.

The donation link for people who can't see it is http://enuratique.getmyip.com/~Eric/

Due to the backlog of orders, at this point, I'm halting new requests until I get back above water. I'll edit this post when that time happens.

Selecting GO JACKETS! will play the game in its entirety. Selecting Playbook takes you to chapter selection.

An explanation of the chapters: each chapter will take you to the beginning of a scoring drive, with the resulting score of that drive as the name of the chapter. Hence, if you want to see JD's opening TD of the 3rd quarter, you'd select the 20-28 chapter. Each drive starts with the kickoff / punt.

Finally, no - I was not able to make it so you have your choice of Wes Durham calling the game or the CBS crew... As such, it is the CBS crew's calling the game. Sorry, but that's the limitation of my software.

I was hoping to have this done yesterday as a Christmas Gift to StingTalk. But family stuff is more important. Merry Christmas!

EDIT: I'd love to donate any number of copies to the athletic department so they can give them to the seniors of this game but I don't know how I would go about doing that... Anyone know the best way to go about this? Demjackets?

Applause, applause. Tremendous news. I plan to "do the right thing" and get my copy. Your work is greatly noticed and appreciated.
Many, many thanks.

What resolution is this?

Edit: Thanks for the time you invested into this!

Nevermind, I'm less smart then I though.

Also, many thanks and drinks in your direction.

Yeah, it uses the concept of swarms like BitTorrent uses to distribute bandwidth, but it doesn't use a central tracker - it's more or less decentralized and you have to get "invited" into the network (supposedly more secure than hopping on The Pirate Bay).

To access the GT Video Archives subnet of the Alliance Network (that's where you'll find this img)

Guys, just for what it's worth, I ordered a DVD copy from a guy on the internet for $18, with shipping included. Quality is damn good, least it plays well on my DVD player. If anyone is interested (and no, I don't know him or own stock in his company or anything), here's a link:
