This world would be a better place if we could ban female football announcers. if you can't play the sport, you shouldn't be allowed to announce it. Also, lets ban metrosexuals. That is just a personal preference.

Playing the sport has nothing to do with being able to announce it. In fact, I would contend that if we handed out announcing jobs based on announcing skill rather than being able to play the sport(or how good you look in the case of sideline reporters), the overall quality of announcing would be much higher.
