maybe not, but i really liked it! from our dear coach:

Why not?

Given the success of the triple option, Georgia Tech head coach Paul Johnson was asked this week, why don’t more teams try it?

“Honestly, I don’t think very many people understand it,” Johnson said. “I think there’s a perception out there and a lot of times it’s perpetuated by the media and other people that it’s three yards and a cloud of dust, and fans don’t enjoy watching it, and it’s boring and guys can’t get to the next level if they play in it, and guys can’t do this and that.

And I think most of that has been proven wrong and I think as we get more into it here, all of it will be proven wrong. … I know how many big plays we can have, I know how exciting it is. Everywhere that we’ve been that we ran the offense, if you polled the fan base, I bet you they would all want to have it back.”

Paul Johnson can be the biggest a-hole on the planet sometimes, and I love him for it. My type of guy.

I always loved the quote he had where a reporter in Annapolis asked him about the idea that he sometimes blamed players. CPJ wants to please the fans and win and he gives us a lot of love back, but the man's not going to take any **** from anyone.

++ Exactly why he's the perfect option. Hey, see what I did there...perfect op....oh forget it...

Anyhow, he has Spurrier-esque personality that gets under of the skin of his rivals (i.e. the Mutt Nation). They will soon get an inferiority complex with their Choir Boy-in disguise HC.

That's the most important part of the quote to me.

But, no, not nearly the greatest quote ever. He's had much better quotes this year, some of which were even directed at the annoying factions of our fanbase. One of my faves:

"Well correct me if I'm wrong, but yall won a national championship wearing blue jersies."

Each time that is quoted, a Yetman has a stroke.
