Not even looking or caring about doofus recruiting rating services. Any son of Mike Mooney is going to be a monster. Mooney was a genetic freak.
Mr Mooney plays for his Varsity Basketball Team at his HS in Long Beach and they play in a pretty competitive league, my point is at 6-7 330lbs, as long as he can control his weight, he might be a diamond in the rough kind of Player for us.

Having played Varsity Basketball in HS , he might have the quickness & Athleticism that our OLine sorely needs

Basketball players are typically 1,000% better athletes than football players

I agree, we just need Mr. Mooney to be a great FB Player that benefits from the Athleticism he picked up along the way from playing basketball, maybe 1000% is a little too rich.

Any news on the recruiting front? Commitments, decommitments? Looks like were are out of the picture for Azareyeh Thomas, good work Geef.

If there is a shake up in the staff we should not be surprised if we have some guys de-commit. I hope we hold onto our D line guys.

Are either of the coordinators spearheading the effort? I seem to remember Key or Choice being listed as primary contact on the majority of offers.

He had said his top 3 was Tech, LSU, and UF at one point, so with Mullen and Orgeron out you'd think he would pick Tech, but he recently tweeted that he was reopening his recruitment, aka I don't really want to go to Tech.
Ya. “Re-open recruiting” as an uncommitted recruit means he was committed somewhere of his final 3 or his final three have either coaches fired or are a complete dumpster fire (Tech) so he’s going elsewhere.
