I quit watching after this:

(responding to the fake punt)

i know and they gave the ball to a lineman. im done watching this crap

I had 30+ folks over at my house with a couple kegs of beer. Figured there were other things to occupy my time than watching us not play football. Haven't touched the TV since.

So what was the final score? What about other games? Did the ACC climbed back up to .500?

Someone give me a quick reader's digest version, I'd rather not look everything up.

I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance by switching to Geico.

Thanks.

Overall I'm still pretty pleased with the season.

ACC 4-6 with VT winning the Orange Bowl to give the ACC it's 2nd ever BCS victory in 11 tries. BC gave Vandy their first bowl victory in 8 centuries.

Welcome back, beej. Folks have missed you and been asking about you.

The board has been hot for several days. Lots of gnashing of teeth. It's great that so many Tech fans expected to soundly thrash LSU, but not so great that it turned out the opposite. Still, I always like to see our fans in a "we should win" mindset, whether or not we actually do so. Like CPJ says at the first of the season...I expect to win every game.

We handed the game to the bengals in the first quarter by playing dumb....real, real dumb. DUMB!! I think you saw that. The second half was a different story and there was one ten-point play by the referee or the score would have looked a little better. Also, our D made a great goal line stand and Wright made a terrific catch of a long pass. The O-line was buried under without much fanfare...no taps or anything. RIP.

Now we have the benefit of some sharp Monday morning quarterbacking to help us move into the off-season. Lots of good observations and some bitter arguments.

Oh, I almost forgot. You missed the paper airplane derby. I don't actually know who won, but it may have been one of our guys. :laugher:

Clemson lost to Nebraska; South Carolina lost to Iowa.... Happy about the Clemson loss, not happy about the Carolina loss....

...watching us not play football. Haven't touched the TV since.

The first football action I'll be watching since checking out of the Dome after "Morgan Body Right" on 4th down from our own 20 will be the Falcons/Cardinals @ 4:30 today.

I'm with you beej --I haven't watched a second of football since around 9PM Wednesday night.
