What an arbitrary and incomplete projection for next season...Real professional she is.
 
Uh, it's a projection a full year in advance. What about it would you clearly disagree with? Picking FSU is no crazier than picking anyone else at this point...you could have argued at several points of the season this past year that they were the best team in the conference. But I don't think there will be a clear cut favorite, which is just what she said.
 
the statement about Bowden resting assured he is the winningest coach is total B.S. I bet you anythign that neither paterno nor bowden really care one iota about that...
 
I enjoyed her post and after thinking about it and reading the responses, I can't help but think that VPI is going to do what Clemson did last year: Top Ranking and get smashmouthed by Alabama in the first game, giving the northeast ACC haters plenty of the season to attack.

By the way, I hope that girl Swofford looks at what an easy early schedule does for a conference. See Big 12.
 
Well, at least the smashmouthing happened to us this year, so we can get prepared for it next year. We need to put up 38-3 signs in the weight room.
 
I think her picking FSU to win the ACC is a pretty bold move. If she said win the Atlantic, then it would be a no brainer, but the Coastal is going to have at least four teams in the running for the division title, and every one of them can win the conference. I think she's spot on about St. Bobby too, except that he won't leave until the Zombie Paterno gets a headshot and can longer coach. Other then that, anybody who's watched five minutes of college football this year could make these statements.
