Bye bye Stafford and No-Show?

I actually came up with a number of possible reasons they might stay. Then I went back and read what I had written.

The word diploma was nowhere to be seen.

:laugher:

If I had that much money on the table, diploma would not be in my vocabulary either.

Agreed, I suspect that most any of us given similar circumstances would likely go for the money, I know that I would. If you are committed to getting your degree then you can certainly do that later.

I hope we do not have to face the same issue next year with JD--he should have a MONSTER year after really getting established this year.

I think that Dwyer's numbers may actually go down next year. We finally have some depth. I also think that the "high school" offense stigma attached to Paul Johnson will take a few seasons to really dissipate and our the success of our backs will be attributed to the system rather then skill.

As for Corky Stafford and the Great Hurdler, I think that Stafford may end up being a servicable backup QB somewhere and that Moreno will be worthless.

I understand your comment and totally agree about Staf'infection and Noshow --but--I think JD with his speed and POWER is a more pro-typical back and will be highly sought after.

It wouldn't hurt our recruiting one iota if JD were to bolt for the NFL and start whoopin' it up.

Stat of the day: 95.5% of Uga's offense this year came from these two players.

Don't the starting QB and RB get most of the offense in any conventional offense?

I think he was trying to make the point that Cox and King/Samuel made hardly any contributions this year. All Ugays games were close so backups didnt get very much experience or production.
