Alright gentlemen, it's roughly three hours and some change until kickoff. Who you got, by how much, and what's your take on the aftermath?

I personally have Florida in the range of anywhere between 35 - 31 and 42 - 38. I think this will be a close game, with Florida's defense getting one or two more stops/key plays than Oklahoma's (OU's defense will show up to try to prove a point)

If either team gets blown out, I think that opens the doors moreso for the "Who's really number one" talk. If Florida wins, Utah's case gets much stronger as OU is currently number one. If OU wins in a walk, Texas can take the "We beat you" to the bank, I think. A close game between the two will most likely allow everyone to start spouting off "well, I think the BCS got it right by having the two best teams".

*I wouldn't be COMPLETELY surprised if the game isn't as high scoring as we all think, but I still expect it to be.

The sad thing is I really don't care. It's been way too long since I've seen either of these teams play, I've been jaded by all the crappy bowl games I've had to watch, and with the Utah/USC situation this game becomes almost an exhibition as well. I'm sure I'll turn it on, but I can't say I'm waiting with bated breath. I'm much more excited to see the AP poll on Monday than I am to see the result of this game.

Boomer Sooner!

I hate the Gators so much. Though it is fun to watch them beat up on the mutts, I just wish an asteroid or something would end that game.

+1

I second this sentiment along with all my friends at work that I talked to today and my father that I talked to today as well.

I couldn't care less... I'm going to the women's basketball game. Supporting Tech, much more important than supporting 2 teams I don't really care about... one of which shouldn't be there.

Hey, first time poster here,

I pick Oklahoma because they are the underdog and we all know how that can motivate a team...

Tremendous speed beats a lot of speed! UF by 4.

Two academic nimnods....maybe somehow they'll both lose.

As much as I want the SEC to lose so I don't have to hear all about how the SEC won 3 championships in a row blah blah blah...I don't think OU has the offense to compete against Florida's defense (bowls have shown the Big XII defense to be a joke) and I don't think OU has the defense to hold Florida below the number of points they themselves score.

I've got a couple of things to do that will make me miss the first half or so, but I fully expect to come home to a 28-0 Gator lead or so.

I think your opening post is a most reasonable expectation. I'll go with the lower scores. FL 38, OU 31. Go Gators!

OK has something to prove. I think that something is that they shouldn't be playing in this game. Gators by a lot.

I'm pulling for any team that hates the mutts or that the mutts hate.

My cousin went to school there and my best friend has been a fan since i knew him (6 y/o). So, GO GATORS!

and...i've got 50 on them covering the 5 1/2...shoulda gotten on it when it was @ 3
