The big two in the state of Georgee is going pro, huh?

Well, I for one hate to see any student give up finishing and graduating right away in order to go pro but in this case, I think they made the right decision as far as they are concerned.
I mean somebody like our J.D. might injure their brain to the point that they couldn't even spell college anymore.

As far as Stafford and Knowshon are concerned, their stock dropped tremendously by their getting beat by this lowly little trade school bunch down on North Ave.

As far as they are concerned, they were beaten like rented mules.

As far as they are concerned, it will very likely happen again next year, even if they stay.

Soooooooo, by the time GT gets done w/the uga bunch, there aint no pro team in America gonna want them.

Yessir, next year we may be watching them on Sunday and we can sit back and say, "YEP, WE'RE THE ONES THAT PUT'M THERE. hehehehe.

I only hope the best for them in their new careers since they'd never have another chance to show good in college. hehehehe.

It has always amazed me that the UGAy fans were hoping against hope that these two dumbasses would stay. What is there to stay for? A diploma? We all know how good a diploma from U[sic]GA is... hell, I hate to admit it, but I have several of them. I keep one on the wall by my "thinking chair" at all times. They all say "Ultra soft"
 
I really hope this has opened the door for us to rattle off about two more years(at least) of in-state dominance because I really dont see them being on our level in 2010

I hope that is true. They will continue to recruit, as will we. I am optimistic about 2010 and beyond, but I wouldn't say that UGA is in the gutter now.
 
my fear is that without the hoopla and expectations they will unite as a team and have a blow-up year next year. Cause lord knows they have the talent...
 
We have been competing at a disadvantage against them for a few years now.

The probation headaches will FINALLY be whiped out starting in 2013....iirc.
 
I don't think Stafford's stock dropped any during the game against us. Other then the pick six he threw to Burnett, he was very good. Sadly.

UGA still frightens me. There's no way they can be a disappoint next year, and obviously they will now circle the date against us as an important game. Richt has to know that losing two in a row to us will make his seat very warm.

yeah, 400+ yards passing and 5 TDs is not going to "drop his stock".

UGA football always frightens me and that is a good thing. It is also good to feel that if we go in at the top of our game and give it everything we have for four quarters, we will win.

Their stock didn't drop at all. Stafford is still a projected #1 overall and Knowshon is slotted in the mid to late first round like he's always been.

See I never understood Tech fans like this. You're just as bad as the UGA fan who says "HAHA.. golden boy Calvin is gone you guys are gonna suck even more!"

And do you honestly believe that "WE WERE THE ONES THAT PUT THEM THERE" ??

I'm a Tech fan to the fullest, I always hope we beat Georgia 100-0. But I can recognize that Stafford and Moreno were good collegiate players.

Imagine if you showed this thread to Staff and Knowshon... they'd laugh and point out their winning record against us thru their career.

Let me explain, the "We Were The Ones That Put'm There" simply meant that since we beat them at their best, then they figured they couldn't win next year anyway, so they thought they'd bale out now while the going was good.
Please don't let my humor get your panties all up in a wad. It certainly wasn't intended to do that.
