OK, since nobody else wants to call out St. Les, we will. What exactly was Coach Miles and his damn fine football team doing running a fake punt with less than 10 minutes to go in the fourth quarter while up by 35 points? The guy is a total ass. Just look at him, he is definitely missing a few screws upstairs. I have to hear recaps of all the stupid crap that Les Miles does from my dad who lives in New Orleans. The fact is that he beat us ... sadly. He will get his in return soon enough ... trust me.
 
IMO it was clearly personal and very "spurrier" like. I think the dude is a solid coach and as long as he keeps ugag down (lke spurrier) he should get some respect.

when and if we play LSU again I think our players will be a little more aware of what is going on.
 
I can't believe people are trying to defend that fake punt...

Actually this fake punt was incredibly necessary, Ga Tech was getting momentum and with the way the Tigers (Jarrett Lee) gave huge amounts of points away this season, I thought it was the perfect thing to do. The Tigers also could have scored more touchdown`s in the second half but chose to run instead of pass when necessary in the second half. Great call Les Ga Tech was the favored team and you should never let an opponent who is "SUPPOSEDLY" better than you take control. Not in any sport and not until the whistle blows. Now had LSU been playing an opponent that they were supposed to beat then yes this would have been a classless call.

He didn't keep ugag down this year. As for his shenanigans at the Peach Bowl, he'll get what's coming to him. It may be 15 years before we play him again, but PJ will remember it.
 
He might retire by then. I hope to god he stays around that long be he has been quoted as saying he isn't going to be like Bowden and 15 years would be around that age I think.
 
I believe Coach Miles earned a great degree of disrespect in that play......BUT!!!!!!!!, his job on offense is to move the ball, score points, and to win. Our job on defense is to simply keep him from it.
He caught us with our pants down no two ways about it.
In the Army one of the first things one has to learn is NEVER to "ANTICIPATE THE COMMAND". When the squad, platoon, company, etc leater hollers "FORWAAAAAAARD..............." many will start to lean forward waiting for him to finish by saying "MARCH". He'll trick you by not saying anything and letting you fall on your face. Hence, pushups with the with the whole squad's weapons on your back.
Les Miles caught us guilty of the same thing. Expecting him to do what he knew we would think he would do.
He won, we lost. Valuable lesson for our guys to learn here.
 
I just do not understand all this whining about Les Miles. I hope the coaches are devoting more effort to making our football team better rather about how somebody made us feel bad.

Quite frankly, I've never thought Miles was that good of a coach, so, to me, it was really disappointing for our new coach to get spanked by him so thoroughly.

I don't really care if he runs it up to 138 -3. It's not his job to stop his team it's our job. If we can't do that, we just have to get better.

And IMHO, the bowl loss did take some of the bloom off of the UGA win. They did indeed squander most of the good-will from the UGA win. We can always say we won, but the dawgs will now always feel that it was a fluke - as will the rest of the country.

the nadlickers always feels it's a fluke if we win and too me the bowl game didn't take any of the luster off of the nadlicker game.
