Collins seems to recruit a lot of project players. It’s challenging enough for his staff to develop players at their natural positions. Project players don’t stand a chance with Collins.

At 18 years old, they are all projects.

A n overlooked point on our 2 DefTackles that makes this class a liitle iffy is --neither one actually played at DT last yr. The guy from NJ was injured and Lockett was moved to Off tackle .Whether they get back to playing at a high level at DT might be in question.

Travis Hunter was the #1 CB recruit in the country, but didn't make the team on defense. They put him on as WR instead I guess.

Lightsey is an OLB out of Fitzgerald that we've been recruiting hard but was committed to Florida back in the summer. But that staff was smashed up so he's back on the block and we have a decent shot. We hosted him on an OV last summer already.

Oliver is a Safety from Douglasville. Kind of a late bloomer, we are currently his only P5 offer. I'm not sure we will take him if we hit on our portal targets (Khari Gee and Ahmari Harvey.)

More than two months after entering the NCAA transfer portal during the open date in Tennessee's 2021 season, quarterback Harrison Bailey has found his new program. The former four-star prospect on Tuesday afternoon announced his commitment to UNLV by posting a graphic on social media. Bailey, who started three games during his freshman season in 2020 but played in just one game in 2021, will have four years of eligibility remaining as he transitions to the Rebels, who play in the Mountain West and went 2-10 in 2021.
