Former Miami(Ohio) HC Terry Hoeppner's wife called Rush Limbaugh's radio show yesterday to add to Rush's comments on Ben Roethlisberger. During their talk Rush asked her about recruiting Ben.

She said that Ben also had scholarships from Ohio State and Duke. He was considering Duke because he had a soft spot in his heart for the ACC, since his father went to Georgia Tech!!!

FWIW, he supposedly didn't go to Duke because they couldn't pronounce his last name correctly when he took his visit.

Roethlisberger was a redshirt freshman during George Godsey's senior season. Damn.
 
Everyone would gripe, moan and complain that we were stealing recruits from Duke.

rothliesberger is an ass. Good qb but an ass. I got into it with him two years ago for not giving a autograph to a fan at Jim Kelly's golf tournament. Basically ripped him a new one. Last year he was pretty nice. He does attrack all the hotties at Jim's tourney though. Kinda jealous of that.

its gotta be hard to keep on your head straight when you have model-grade chicks all over you all the time as a college kid, so close to LA

then win a Super Bowl, wreck your motor bike and live, you have to feel like you're invincible

good to hear that he got nicer as his head got back to human-sized...

Geez, it's too bad the Ravens didn't win and then we could be looking at good looking women. Dayum, BuzzCzar, those are some ugly worn out women.

as far as Ravens chicks being hot, not even their cheerleaders are hot. the one on the left looks like she got lost on her way to the dorky giraffe look alike contest. the middle one is pipe longstocking all growd up and the those guys are about to kiss, i think

you dont even know that its in Pittsburgh. it could be anywhere he went to play or be part of some event. i bet its vegas or boston.

Seriously man, you can't expect to get us hardcore GT fans root against a great Yellow Jacket like that. Plus Cardinals are underdogs..
