BOSTON COLLEGE -- Practice starts March 17, spring game is April 25.
CLEMSON -- Practice starts March 9, spring game is April 11
DUKE -- Practice starts March 18, spring game is at 1:30 p.m. on April 18
FLORIDA STATE -- Practice start TBD, spring game is April 4
GEORGIA TECH --Spring practice begins March 23, spring game is April 18
MARYLAND -- Spring practice begins March 24, spring game is April 25
MIAMI -- Practice starts Feb. 24, spring game is March 28
NORTH CAROLINA -- Practice starts March 2, "spring showcase" is March 28
NC STATE -- Practice starts March 20, spring game is April 18
VIRGINIA -- Practice starts March 20, spring game is April 18
VIRGINIA TECH -- Practice starts April 1, spring game is April 25
WAKE FOREST -- Practice begins March 24, spring game April 18

Cool. Our spring game is the day after me b-day. I'll make a long weekend of it in the ATL. Should be fun again.

I see Boston College is getting quite a few more days of practice than we are. I wonder what the regulations are and why we are practicing that much less. I also wonder how much the extra Spring practices will benefit BC.

BC is closed from April 9 to April 12 (inclusive) for the Easter Holiday period. I dont think GT is. this could be a reason. BC is a Catholic school, remember

there are clear rules as to how many practices and for how long for spring training, dont worry, we are not missing out

UNC starts practice March 2, Clemson March 9. They are much earlier then us or BC.

Its 15 practices. Some schools just take longer to do it. Tech does a Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday schedule for 4 weeks. I think they take off Friday before the Spring Game?

Yes, but they also end much earlier. But that point is moot thanks to the other posters.

Personally, I'd prefer the more compact way of doing the 15 practices.

I'd like them to have long enough between practices to absorb new material but not so long as to forget their train of thought. In other words, I think I like the way we are doing it.
