This is what I've read.

- denzel mccoy may commit soon

- aaron Clark is really high on us. He is a lot like marcus wright. But will be ranked higher.

- rick ayers a star cb is really high on us. Not sure if we have offered.

- on a 09 note aycock is ours.

Anybody else got any more info? Who are our main targets for next year?
 
Sooooo, it seems to me Aycock was the "silent commit" talked about all along, correct?

Do you think it takes a lot of personal responsibility for a kid in HS to do this (keep quiet), basically for the sake of his friends/teammates?
 
Have you guys seen the offers McCoy has already? He's got like 15 from all major schools.

This is something I have heard but I guess I don't understand. What benefit does a kid provide his friends/teammates by remaining silent through the process?
 
So they would get exposure when all of the other schools came calling. (May work, but who knows)
 
I doubt Clark will keep that stutter step in the hole after he gets hit by a couple of college LB's.

Depending on the website and how well we do next year, that could decrease if he commits to us. It has already been discussed that recruiting website that require paid subscription favor recruits who commit to teams with the most subscriptions.
 
You know what would be funny if we could ever get a kid to play the game? When we get our next 5 star get him to commit to a football factory early, then switch to us and see if they are stuck having him as a 5 star or if they mysteriously drop him.

Most of us have sense enough to know what's going on with it but people who assume the general public is stupid and do things to manipulate them irritate me. It shows a lack of respect.

I know, the general public acts stupid about a lot of things but that is beside the point.
 
It wouldn't bother me as much if they didn't base preseason ranking partly on the most recent recruiting class.
 
I dont know where you got that McCoy info, but he was at FSU this weekend.
