09 schedule

I'm surprised the homecoming date isn't announced farther in advance. I can understand who we're playing not being announced, but I figured the date of homecoming would be known earlier.

I believe HC is always our last home game in October, so we have to wait until the schedule to schedule...
 
No matter what, both homecoming and the family day game will be conference games. They won't release what days they are cause we probably want the most likely wins to be on those days (last season family day was Duke game and HC was Virginia, the only two teams that didn't get bowl eligible in the ACC).

What I'm most interested in is where the away games will be placed. Also remember we only get 1 bye week this season. I just hope we don't have something similar to the start of last year and have Miami and FSU on back to back road games.

Didn't mean all time, just meant in 2009. Jax State will almost certainly be the first game of the season and our only other home OCC game is UGA.
 
I really wanted to get season tix this year but alas, I cannot.

I sure hope to make it to as many games as possible, though. This past season, I made every home game but FSU and G-W and I also went to the bowl game.

Finding out the exact schedule is going toreally help me figure out which games I can make it to.

Ugh, I need to finish this degree so that I can buy season tix!

Haha yeah, I would have bought it hook line and sinker if he had the Jax St game on August 29, moved everything up until around the Duke game and stuck the BYE week in there... But that seems kind of early for football season to kickoff.
 
CPJ decided bye-week is for the weak, instead we are going to play the NFL all stars in our assigned bye-week.

This will also provide the needed strength of schedule and there will be no denying us from the championship game.

And no it's not speculation, it appeared on a square piece of pizza slice to me.

One thing to point out is that UNC does a Thurs night game already at home, against ECU I believe. I would be nice for our last ACC game to be Duke as well.
 
With only one bye week, it will come before the presumptive Thursday night game (we have chan to thank for that). If UNC is out due to their ECU game, my guess is the ACC will want FSU, MIA, or VT for that Thursday game and my money is on VT.
