Great choices. Clint Castleberry, Larry and George Morris, Rock Perdoni, Randy Rhino to name a few would have looked good up there too.

nothing against CJ, but I wouldn't put him on our Mt. Rushmore.

If that is the case, then you could insert pretty much any females name at the end of this sentence. Gross dude

Have to agree with this. In terms of talent, sure, but in terms of what he did for Georgia Tech? We never beat Georgia, never won the ACC, went to a couple crappy bowl games, and then he left before graduating. I love CJ, but I wouldn't put him as one of the top four individuals in Tech history.

hopefully in 10 years and a couple MNCs we can add Johnson and just make it four coaches:

Heisman, Alexander, Dodd, Johnson.

Coaches: Heisman, Dodd, Alexander

Players: Castleberry (his story should really really be told more, far too many Tech fans don't know it)

I see Ross and Alexander as about a tie, probably would have to give the nod to Alexander for length of time and leaving the program in good hands.

National championships, national prominence, and incredible sacrifice all represented very well with those 4.

+1

Four coaches brought us four national championships:

Heisman, Alexander, Dodd, Ross.

Joe Hamilton is my all time favorite GT athlete, but I'm sorry, he is not deserving of being on GT's Rushmore.

My picks would be Heisman, Castleberry, Dodd, and Ross.

Why has no one mentioned Leonard Wood? This guy, along with Bobby Dodd and Clint Castleberry, lived his life representing the best Tech had to offer. Why does really no one know who he is or ever mention him when discussing great Tech men. He should definitely be on our Mt. Rushmore.

Paul Duke, Smylie Gebhart, Marco Coleman, Kim King, John Sias, Rufus Guthrie, Dez White, Jerry Mays, Pepper Rodgers, Maxie Baughn, Frank Broyles--this program stands on the shoulders great, great men. Some fellow that moved Refrigerator Perry was instrumental in resuscitating a legacy that was on life support and nearly dead.
