They have those mats for all of the big games this year according to one of the other pictures
 
I've actually been in that weight room in the offseason (for a team baseball camp...miserable week), in the summer of 2005, and there was no mention of beating Tech. Looks like things have changed a bit. :biggthumpup:
 
Does it really matter since majority of there players can't read? And even if they could they would be better served putting the mat down at the jail house considering that's where most of there players spend majority of their time at. THWG! God it feels good to be state champs.

Along these same lines, something has really bugged me for a while: you know that picture with Michael Johnson lifting weights and the date of the Georgia game on the mirror behind him? Was our ENTIRE schedule on the mirror in different places(like with U[sic]GA's mats), or was it just the Georgia game?
 
Our entire schedule, just like they have their whole schedule on their mats.
 
Doesn't really look like they give a **** about us one way or another. Give it a couple of more losses, and the entire weight room will reek "Beat Tech".

Even so, the band uses the football practice field behind the baseball stadium, and walking to the field, I passed the sleds they use in practice. Every one had the same thing on them "Beat georgia".
 
GT will become the nadlickers worst NIGHTMARE--weight room reminders won't help--streaming videos in their mess hall will not help---they are DOOMED!!
 
If you think this is bad, think of the Army/Navy Rivalry.

Every single thing everywhere at both schools, including outside the football programs, say Beat Army or Beat Navy. It is nuts.
 
When we signed CPJ, one of the Army grads I am friends with actually came up and hugged me and said thank you -- like I had anything to do with that decision -- but that is how much Army/Navy matters.
 
I know they had mats made for all their big games, but I thought we weren't their rivals and that we didn't matter. Pffft.
