GT recruit is leading rusher in Ala-Miss All-Star Game

and since his long was only 23 that means he also averaged 6 yds for the rest of them

Sometimes a guy can have one run for 45 and be held up the rest of the game, apparently didn't happen here.

I don't know how you can say that, he's only a 2 star guy. Since when does production and actual ability mean anything. Its all about the stars. Next thing you know, you'll be telling me that Caleb King isn't even the best running back in the state.

I saw film on this . . .

. . . young man at the signing day event down at the Edge Center. He is a very physical down hill runner. He will definitely stick his nose in there and runs hard on every play. He was the go to man on his high school team. The other teams knew he was going to get the ball but still had trouble stopping him. He is a fairly big back that could put on another 15 to 20 lbs. easilly. Good speed and a nose for the open field. I think Orwin could be the surprise of this class.

Go Jackets!

My exact thoughts.

All the other services thought pretty highly of Orwin, Scout for some reason really didn't like him. He's probably our only guy that got a higher rating on Rivals than Scout. I believe he's a 3 star on Rivals and 3 star equivalent on ESPN.

Rivals liked Beno better as well, giving him 3 stars to 2 stars on Scout. Beno is strong as hell, with a low center of gravity & flat-back drive blocking style. And he is NASTY.

Orwin Smith is a guy who is always going to get you positive yardage. He turns it North/South and always manages to get at least a couple. That's a very valuable thing in PJ's offense. The more the sticks move, the more tired the defense gets, and the more chances we get to pop a long one.
