Can somebody give me a little of what was said. I cannot listen on my phone.

1. UGA is just "another game." A lot of debate on what he really meant by this on the forum.

2. the qb's will be learning the Aback position, including Josh.

3. Expect to see quite a few guys change positions

4. Rocker and Tongo "moving down." Not sure but think this means moving to DL. He made the comment in the same answer about depth on the DL.

5. The Bback position is very deep with 4 guys ready to go when there was really only Jon last year.

6. Lockhart to corner by his own asking.

Thanks a lot DCS! I'm personally glad of what double b is doing. I don't care where I get GT info from. He is doing a great thing with this show.

Who are the four at b back? I know JD, AA, and watson. Is it kelly or maybe lyons?
We have a lot of guys at DB now. Reid, Butler, Terrant, Peterson, Frierson, Riley, Earls, Lockhart. Plus Sweeting and Miles are coming in.

I really like the move for Lockhart. His nickname is spider man because if his skills. His vertical is 41 I believe.

Not sure on the 4th B, my thinking was Cox, but maybe Kelly.

I'm excited to see about Watson. Hear he's the real deal. Oh, PJ said JD will be learning Aback, as well.

Yea. I'm very excited about watson as well. Its amazing how much more deep were getting this year. I wonder if Allen is going to be more of an a back or b back? I like having JD at A back some. He will certainly apply the home run threat and won't take as much as a beating this year.

I've never really understood the bickering about the "other" board that you see on both of these sites. I've been reading and posting to both for years, and just see occasional jabs each way. What's the deal? It seems like some lame BS to me, but maybe I'm missing something.
You really don't want to start this discussion again, trust me. Suffice to say that those carrying a grudge have reason to, and it's not just bickering.

Adamm said during one of the early shows that he wanted to let others run with it once it was setup. Although it was rather abrupt when he and "Irish E" stopped appearing. I don't think they ever said why. The interviews they get now are great, but BB and Jeremiah McClary don't really do anything for me. I liked when 33jacket was on during Spring Practice giving reports.

we can all just examine the evidence.

1. BeeBad initially was on the hive and here and we all had an opportunity to evaluate his thoughts on GT.

2. I know there is an allegation that Beebad (or someone involved with that show) was posting under Adamm's username and would not cease after requested to the point where the admins had to disable the username AT THE REQUEST OF ADAMM.

There will NEVER be enough water under the bridge for me to take Beebad seriously.

:twocents:

for those who have TOO MUCH time on their hands you do a search of this forum using "beebad"

here is JUST one of the threads

http://www.stingtalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=22751&highlight=beebad
I read through the thread--It sounds like a lot of childish stuff going on in both directions to me. "My board is better than your board", "my dad can beat up your dad" <---both quotes meant to spoken in a girly-sounding voice.

I honestly find both boards to be informative, and all this gay adversarial stuff back and forth is a waste of energy. IMO, you do see more posts taking the "devil's advocate" approach on bbuzzoff, but that is just one of many perfectly good approaches to take to debate. I could see how certain fans might be turned off by the tone of each board, but there's a simple solution: Don't read that board!

Someone should arrange an off-season dart tournement or something between ST and BO members. Rule #1: Only throw darts at the dart board.

I think the issue wasn't the posts over there, but that the administrator would delete any posts that he didn't agree with and would ban members for the same reasons.

Well, I keep a close eye on that board, and I haven't noticed any posts deleted for a matter of opinion. Maybe their policies have changed since I started posting to the board. I've only been using these sites for a little over a year. Regardless, I don't think what you're describing is an actual issue at this poing.

It's still an issue. If you say anything that Beebad disagrees with, you get banned. Look at his new "Coach Discussion" forum so that all bad thoughts about Coach Hewitt are kept off of the front page. If you say anything bad about Hewitt on the main basketball board, he says he'll ban you.

If you frequented this board back before DoubleB created BBuzzoff and posted here as Beebad and even in his first year under BBuzzoff, you'd probably understand. If not, you wouldn't get it.

I give him a lot of credit for throwing it back in the faces of many of his detractors by creating another successful board. He's done a good job.

That said, I will never support that board solely because of Beebad's past actions which have included:
1.) making really inappropriate comments like personal attacks on student athletes, especially some that hadn't even shown up on Tech's campus.

2.) encouraging people to completely stop supporting the GTAA financially

3.) Often and repeatedly insulting Georgia Tech's campus, Georgia Tech's students, Georgia Tech's alumni base, Georgia Tech's traditions, Georgia Tech's history, Georgia Tech's athletics... etc. etc. etc.

I don't see how someone can be such a great fan of Georgia Tech when they've insulted about everything that the school represents. You can do searches of the archives here to see his posts and see for yourself. Its pretty well documented up until the mods booted him for his incessant rants.

I think then you may understand why there are those that don't like him. He is one of these yankee transplants who came to Atlanta with a Philadelphia Eagles fan attitude and has never been accepted by the people who really make the GT program run, and he's trying to prove a point that he is close with the program to throw it in those people's faces. Its actually kind of enjoyable to watch on one hand because what he wants so badly is to be taken as a big time GT guy, and he won't ever achieve that because he's pissed off too many people and he doesn't donate any money. Now he's just another tool of exposure and it works for the program and it works for him. So good for both.

Well, I can tell you he's banned a ton of people including me for just disagreeing with his opinion. When Joseph Gilbert committed to GT early in the recruiting year, Beebad (Double B) made some slanderous comments that he was a piss poor recruit and Gailey was bringing in these kids who sucked. This was in 2007 when we had the best recruiting class we've ever had. When I and a few other posters called him out for it because the recruits hadn't even been ranked yet, he stuck to his guns and continued to insult Gilbert. He started looking so bad that he deleted entire posts, deleted his own thread to get rid of the evidence, and then booted 5 people, me included, who couldn't continue to call him out.

In his hatred for Gailey he just took things WAY too far and this was a great instance. I didn't like Gailey either, but Beebad had the attitude that if you didn't bash everything associated with Gailey and stopped supporting the GTAA altogether, then you were "accepting mediocrity" and he insulted you. He's called me so many names in the past I can't remember them all including sending me emails unsolicited telling me to "Go **** myself" after I made him look like a complete fool on his own board.

Id like to see him say some of the things to my face and others like John Davis that he's said over message boards or in emails.

Beebad's new stuff is great. But, to sum everything up in the past: he's more interested in himself, his own opinions, and being a "big player" than he is in the health of the Institute.

This all happened several years back so what you see today has nothing to do with what was going on then. Certain fonts showed what kind of people they are and some don't want anything to do with them.

whiskyclear02 - just take it from some people who have been around for a bit and otherwise have no axe to grind that Beebad, DoubleB or whatever he calls himself these days is no friend of the Institute.

What he pretends to be to further his own interests effectively masks his true nature.

The only thing Beebad cares about is Beebad. If Tech gets in his way, to quote a phrase, he'll burn it down.

that is classic. I never posted over there but I did read occasionally. Then you had to be logged in to read. I guess it is opened back up to the public and he is trying to make a business out of it. I actually went to the MTM website and he has a list of interesting interviews.

If the guy wanted to come out and apologize for being an "ass" maybe we could move on.

Looks like the little bitch got the advertisement and attention he wanted. It's a shame that any post with the address of that "board" isn't nuked instantly.
