plenty of ways to download youtube vids these days. Did a quick google search and found this url,

http://www.downloadyoutubevideos.com/

Enter the youtube vid url and it walks you through on the page how its done. The keys are to save the file as a ".flv" and to get a viewer that can view a ".flv" type file. They have some you can download on that site.

Not tried this, so I can't vouch for it... but according to "Pwn YouTube" http://pwnyoutube.com/ all you have to do is add "pwn" in front of "youtube" on the http:// address for a video link.
