For those disinterested with basketball this year, this handy dandy cheat sheet should help you pick the Final Four correctly:

used that last year, but the one i picked myself did better. basically, if you use the ISYE system, you are essentially seeding them (for which the program was originally designed).

so, you are actually saying "i dont believe any team will play differently than their average play during the year" which makes for good numbers in the early rounds but if there are upsets, you are screwed

I hear what you're saying, but this article says it has good accuracy predicting the upsets (eg: does a better job at seeding than the RPI, and thus can help determine if a team is over or under rated).

I guess to stand a good chance of winning your office pool, you gotta at least get all final four right... This should help in that regard (since I almost never get all 4 right). I see your point though.
