The Sky is the Limit

Our D might be off just a tad this season but the Offense is going to be ALOT better!

I fully expect an improved team on both sides of the ball. Our defense didn't play all that well down the stretch, and our talented players on our DL that we're losing, didn't really account for a great deal of actual production. Not to say they weren't very good, but not great either IMO. With a dramatic increase in QUALITY depth at LB and DB, along with some seemly very talented, however untested, players on the D line, I expect our defense to be markedly better than in 2008. By 2010, we may have one hell of a team on both sides of the ball.

I would have to agree. PJ will be able to recruit on D because this D will get a lot of players to the league. The D is based on being instinctive, playing in space, and being capable of playing man2man without over the top help (major reason for shootouts during the 2nd half of the season). This will attract a lot of high-profile LBs and DBs... As I stated numerous times before the defense will be much improved from last season. I will go as far as saying that the DL will be better than last season.
