The major step up this year, other than passing the ball more effectively, will be taking the offensive tempo up a notch or two. Defenses this year will be more familiar with what we run, but if we catch them a step slow, it will not matter what they know.
I think we'll also be trying to expand the variety of things we will do on the field, so that will also make it harder for defense to counter us. Even if it's only one or two more plays, the more variety you have the easier you can set up a defense to get comfortable with some plays then spring a different one on them every so often.
Also, 2 starting O linemen being out for spring worries me. Anyone have some info on the people filling in for them in the meantime or are the mostly untried?
