BJ Raji (BC) fails drug test

Marijuana? Who the hell cares if he smokes herb. What's that got to do with his performance?

The NFL is retarded.

Actually Raji is retarded if can't put down the weed this close to draft day.

so does he drop out of the first round or this doesn't matter?

and it does indicate either arrogance or lack or discipline or just plain stupidity, any of which would be relevant to a potential employer about to pay him a few million dollars

I can't think of a single employer who would hire someone after they fail a drug test...

At the very least it shows a severe lack of discipline/intelligence.

But the rumors about the USC players on roids is a big deal...

They will be swirling big time tomorrow.

Is this a bigger deal though, then unresolved issues from your mommy and daddy getting divorced?

Good for him that he likes to smoke the ganga. But I agree... he's a ****ing idiot for doing this prior to the most important event of his life which will decide his future. Moron.

This is not a big deal.

I disagree. During basically what is the interview process for the NFL, you are suppose be on your best behavior to impress scouts get drafted high.

This would be a red flag to me showing that he can't show enough discipline to hold off on the smoking for a few months.

Why is everyone assuming it's marijuana? Couldn't it also be steroids?

I think High Times magazine would still hire you, in fact, they may require a positive test

NORML also comes to mind as a potential employer for BJ

I believe that is exactly what he was doing.:laugher:

Didn't seem to hurt Randy Moss too much to smoke weed throughout his career.

Moss did not test positive for it at the combine. It is a HUGE difference if you are already a star in NFL or a rookie trying to get in about drug tests as well. Moss dropped in the first round due to his prior battery charge, and not due to any drug use.

Edit: I was wrong -- he did test positive his freshman year, and this plus the battery charge did drop him in the first round, but I think NFL did not drop him lower than first round due to the fact that this all occurred in his freshman year.
