No need to apologize for what he did a few weeks ago. He still ööööed up. The thing about ööööing up is that you can always redeem yourself and we can always forgive.

The kid played his ass off today and I'd be honored to be first in line to tell him he played his ass off. Damn good job by him and the rest of the team. Hats off to every one of the guys.

Edit: I need to add that some people might need to apologize for saying he's a quitter and never needs to see the field again. That was a little far, I suppose.
