BJ Raji (BC) fails drug test

I'm just saying, the idea that testing positive for pot makes you a worse player isn't really one grounded in facts.

I don't think anyone is saying that. However, the idea that testing positive for pot is indicative of possible future troubles staying on the field is definitely one grounded in fact, especially given Goodell's affection for suspending players.

As everyone before me has said, it's more of a character issue, and Randy Moss's character has certainly been a problem for teams throughout his career.
 
Randy Moss reminds me to laugh at the Cowboys. They made a big deal about how noble they were to not draft him. Now they have degenerated into the Eastern Branch of Al Davis's Home for Wayward Boys.:laugher:
 
Apparently, BJ isn't the only one on the pot

Citing NFL sources, the site says Florida’s Percy Harvin, Illinois cornerback Vontae Davis, Boston College defensive tackle B.J. Raji, along with UTEP kicker Jose Martinez all tested positive for marijuana during tests administered in Indianapolis two months ago. Raji’s name was also included in a Sports Illustrated report/.

He just cost himself millions. But I would be happy as hell if the Falcons get him. A game changing DT that smokes pot is better than a CB that gets smoked.

When this story first broke, I read somewhere that Warren Sapp went through the same thing when he was drafted. It caused him to slide to the Bucs at 12-ish. Either way, he had a great career. He wasn't everyone's favorite player (I hated him when he was a Buccaneer, although I hate almost everyone in the NFC South outside of Atlanta), but he was a great DT.
 
Quite a few teams are high on BJ --he just wanted to be high on them in return.
 
Not that I don't agree with what people have said, but I do find it disturbing that the NFL isn't able to keep this information confidential. The same goes for Wonderlic scores. I understand that when 32 teams get the information, it will probably get out, but I hope that the NFL has strict rules in place that would severely punish teams who are found to have released this information.
