Who bolts after this year?

I think PJ retires at Tech. He has too many advantages built in and he's not exactly a spring chicken needing to move around any more.

Agree with except for 3. JD is gone after this year. He will still rush for 1300+ yds. More TDs as I expect the short yardage game to be better with a more experienced OL.

If Dwyer goes for 1300+ this year again...GT will win the ACC and be in the hunt for the MNC game..

That would make my decade... If we can avg. atleast 120 thru the air we will win the ACC! I think the D is going to bee better than expected.

The only thing that gives me pause, is that I said that about O'Leary.

I think we are jumping the gun a bit with this mnc talk for '09.......... 2010 maybe, even then we are more likely to get the same shaft that undefeated auburn got a few years ago when they got scammed out of a title game

If CPJ has them chanting "1.2.3..Nat'l Championship" and he has our players believing this...then I believe. I trust in PJ over internet chatter.

Problem is O'Leary never had any intentions of retiring at GT.

Was he public about that though?

I don't recall O'Leary saying anything differently than PJ has said.

I sure hope he retires here, but if he's able to get a MNC here, then you bet your ass some football factory is going to throw ten mil a year at him.

No he wasn't public but he said enough to certain individuals that it became known on the inside that he would leave if that job opened. He followed through!

Well we all knew he'd leave for ND.

Does PJ have a "dream job" school?

yes, GEORGIA TECH!!!

if he takes Tech anywhere near a Natl Championship a few times, he will have proven that his offense can work and that you can do things the right way and still succeed. i think these are two of his hidden (or not so hidden) motivations

Please stop imagining that we will be left out if we go undefeated because it actually happened once to an Auburn team coached by a horny clown midget.

The scenario is a million to one shot. Starting in the top 25 makes it particularly impossible. It could be slightly more possible in 2010 if we crash and burn in 2009 and Georgia collapses as a program and the ACC collapses as a league.

It's impossible since they changed the formula.
