Guys, I was talking to a friend the other day. He happens to sell advertising for a radio station here in Warner Robins. I mentioned to him how great it would be for there to be Georgia Tech football to listen to on a local station. He said that it was a distinct possibility that Tech fans in Central Georgia might be listening to Tech Football on one of the stations owned by Georgia Eagle Broadcasting this coming season. Tech Football could possibly end up on an FM station with a pretty strong signal. Georgia Eagle Broadcasting is already carrying UGA and Ga. Southern Football on some of its stations. Mike says that it will all be contingent upon the interest of the business community and advertising $$. So all of you Yellow Jackets in the Macon/ Warner Robins area need to spread the word to any business people that you know. If they are intersted in reaching a new market and would like to support Tech Football on local radio, tell them to call Mike Podskoc at WNNG The Patriot.

I want my GT.

How about some TECH radio in extreme North Georgia?
North east Georgia is a dead zone. We can't even get the flagship station on the internet. Poor!

I listened to some of the games last year on 96.7(cochran). I could pick it up almost up to milledgeville so surely you can get it in WR. They arent listed as a affiliate but they carried the games last year.

How about the new carrier, 106.7? I can get it as far south as Perry, can you pick it up in NW GA?

The radio deal is something that has been a sore subject for so long it's really great that DRad is starting to do something about it. It's getting better after just being ignored for years. I like this DRad. We need to keep him. Keep imploring. I think he's listening.

It's tough here in Thomaston, I have to angle my truck a certain way in the yard to try and get 790AM. The local station here Fun 101.1 will play the games if UGA has an off week, and every now and then the local 1590AM will have the Tech game. We definitely need a central GA FM station to carry the games every week.

A Macon station carried the games last year. I think it was 100.1. If I remember correctly, they've just signed a 6 year deal with GT to continue the games.

I still havent found a station that carries it this far south. Hopefully we will get one soon I know several people down here that would love to listen to them when its not on tv.

I grew up in thomaston and Fun 101 is defiantely dawg country.... they would rather run the three hour pre and post game for the Ugagers than to run GT games.... they actually start coverage for 330 dawg nation games at noon... Imagine how awesome that is... hours upon hours of larry munson-ed and his chodebag sidekick laur'n

WJFL 101.9 FM in Sandersville has been carrying Tech games for years. You should be able to pick it up a few miles east of Macon to nearly Augusta, certainly in Milledgeville and Dublin.
