those aren't horrible. i wouldve liked to see burnett higher than 90 overall. not having anthony allen is crap too.

The biggest issue with it (and something that Madden claims it will solve this year) is the absolute drop off from the elite players to other starters, and even 2nd stringers.

Dwyer is a 94 overall. Not a bad rating really (although I'd say he's closer to a 96 or 97, on this scale). ACC player of the year. But after him is Lucas Cox. 85 overall. As much as you like the guy, Cox is not considered a "B" to Dwyer's "A". Just isn't.

Further down, Burnett is a 90, and Cooper Taylor is an 89? Mario Butler is ranked as highly as Morgan Burnett. Brad Jefferson and Kyle Jackson are rated as highly as Burnett.

The point of this post is that the elite players in the game never truly stand out. Sure, NCAA has always made sure the fast players stand out, but never the guys who just know how to play the game.

Ultimately, NCAA is trying to do overall rankings on potential, and they really need to have some sorty of weekly/bi-weekly updates during the season to reflect what's really happening.

Oh, and I bet FSU is a 99 overall in the game.

maybe that was his percentage on probability for injury :laugher:

Yeah. I'll probably end up buying NCAA because I'm a retard and will want to play a game for a month before Madden comes out.

But I won't get $60 out of it. Maybe i'll do gamefly...

You don't get it. If they actually allow the game to reflect real-time reality then you don't have to buy next year's game. They blew my mind when they allowed people to trade rosters online. This year they're blowing my mind again by letting people make their own teams. While that's cool to be able to make teams that aren't in the game, it also means you could re-make Georgia Tech to your likings. A fan-made GT team could be distributed online. Or next season's team could be created and shared, and you wouldn't have to buy the new version...

I think that's why they're adding so many new features to the game like season showdown. Also, 2010 is supposed to feature improved and "adaptive AI." How smart and adaptive it is without the AI turning psychic, i.e. knowing exactly what play you're running, remains to be seen.

The blocking schemes for the option in this year's version is still incorrect though. No leaving a dlineman unblocked and optioning off of him. If they fixed the blocking logic next year, then I would definitely buy next year's game.

I see they don't have Richard Watson on there either.

No way Burnett and Griffin are rated that low. Burnett is arguably the best DB in the nation and Griffin the best LB on the team and a probable All-ACC this year. Burnett should at least be 95 and they should least switch Griffin w/ Jefferson or Jackson.

buddy im just saying the ratings arnt out.....
so i dont know where he would of gotten the ratings..

Ncaa teambuilder lets you base your team off a list generic rosters and fbs team rosters so thats how he knows. i made a tech team they have our navy and white as our home and away and then i made the alt home our throwback gold jersey from the virginia game in 2006 andaway are a late 90's and chan gailey era (white of course)

correct.

sutt0n pulled these "ratings" out of his ass methinks.

GT fowler just told you where i got them from. it was from ea's official site. not my fault they aren't very good, but they are the ones that will be on the game.

Don't forget about impact players. It makes them a little better than their actual ratings.

Dwyer Burnett and Morgan?
