Nah shouldn't of been a possibility. That thing happen with less than a year's notice. This starting 2 years before the game was to take place.

This game does nothing for us other than strength of schedule. Kansas is not exactly fertile recruiting grounds. Football out there is often played by 8 man teams at the highschool level.
If we were going to schedule a Big 12 team, make it make sense. Schedule Texas A&M or Baylor. Hell how about Colorado? How many people want to see a match up against those bastards? I do. I hate Colorado.
