Ryan White says were number 1

I really recommend joining rivals. Matt and Kelly are doing a excellent job. Out of the last four commits they reported three of them first.

Anybody got a feel for White's time frame?

I wouldn't be surprised to see us land Ayers by the end of the week and Williams in the next day or two.

With the pressure that this will put on a lot of the other recruits; hell, we might be finished by Independence Day.

Well for one thing, based off gterics info (best that I know at the moment), we won't know from Ayers until after the weekend (cause he is probably going to visit Uga).

I also don't think we'll be entirely done by the start of the season. I think we'll have a few spots open because it just doesn't seem likely that all our top choices will want to decide until some games are played.

The Scout guys were asked to keep Bostic's quiet two weeks before, which they did. Not sayin either is better than the other; just sayin...

I was told that Ayers would be at UGA sometime today...not sure if this is correct and I haven't heard anything further on the matter...

Still, sounds more like a formality...I think we get him...soon

If we get Ayres over UGaG too the pup nation will really be up in arms :fingersx::biggthumpup:

Stinger78 you said he's a great a back prospect. That's not what where looking at him for. He's a qb prospect for us. So yes he could end up at a back down the road but as of now we want him at QB.

Eric, I said "at least" he's another great A-back prospect. Now I admit you have to read between the lines a bit, but the implied point (perhaps only discernible to myself) was that if he doesn't make it at QB, he'd be a great A-back prospect.

I have a question. I thought I read somewhere that former players were not allowed to speak with recruits. Obviously, I doubt I'm correct seeing as how he spoke with Calvin. Is there a rule similar to this that I may have misinterpreted?

I have no idea, but I'd guess that if its during a visit to the school you can do just about anything except give out cash.

What about giving an autograph that can be turned around and sold for cash?

as long as he would have given the autograph to anyone, i think its ok

its about receiving additional benefits as a S-A

I got you Stinger78. I though that you meant we wanted him as a back. Yes I agree with point that he could also be a good a back.

Former players can talk with PSA's on-campus. Only designated coaches can recruit off-campus.

Our biggest competition seems to be USCe who wants him as a WR. So he could probably play there too, any skill position probably. He looks good at QB however, better mechanics than any QB I have seen at GT in a long time.

^ agreed his mechanics are really good. He throws a tight spiral and displays a great arm. Only thing coaches change is his release which is a tad to low.

Compared to nesbitt his mechanics are perfect

Agreed. Like you said he would some of the best mechanics around GT in a good while. I have to say this kid reminds me a lot of Joe Hamilton. I know its high comparison but I like this kid a lot.
